Community Garden - What Should We Grow??

Welcome back to Quackers World! In today’s episode, I’m taking a little break from our historical deep dives to share some exciting personal updates and a look at where I’ll be spending a lot of my time this summer.
We start things off at the Leaders Park community garden here in Sioux Falls. I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve secured a plot in the garden, and I’m taking you along to see the space where I’ll be getting my hands dirty. I already have plans for tomatoes, okra, summer squash, and plenty of flowers—but as you’ll see, there is still room for more!

After checking out the garden, we head into the woods for a walk along the FAST trail. As we explore the greenery, I reflect on my childhood and the lessons I learned while helping my grandparents in their own gardens.
